By starting music lessons as early as possible - a child who is ready to begin learning music, as their own person, can learn music and progress well. This requires maintaining the "fun" of childhood, along with a structured curriculum. It is that spirit of play in which real learning takes place! This is what we have waiting for you and your child at Boston School of Music Arts.
The Children’s Music Program is designed for children ages 2 yrs, 10 months through early teens. The programs foster self-confidence and the development of each child’s musical interests, through private music lessons, and group classes in music, as well as performance opportunities.
Below is a guide to help you select the best music training based on your child’s age and interests, and the ideal BEGINNING AGE FOR EACH INSTRUMENT.
You can also call to schedule a placement appointment with the school Music Programming Director.
